The Netherlands is backing logistics and supply chain management, and the logistics sector is backing innovation. Innovation through collaboration: between rail transport, road transport, air transport and sea transport. Between researchers, students and logistics and supply chain managers and professionals. Across the links and parties in the chains and between the various chains.
In order to achieve this, the Dinalog institute was established at the end of 2009, with a single unequivocal goal in mind: to ensure that the Netherlands was the European market leader in the control of the transnational flows of goods by 2020, with an increase in the BNP of 7 billion in control.
How do we intend to achieve this? With investment in applied research, demonstration and experimental projects, courses and SME knowledge dissemination. Projects in which knowledge institutes, government and companies, shippers and logistic services work together for the greater good: innovation.
We concentrate on innovations for the logistics sector in the research projects. Subsequently, we show how the plans work in practice through demonstration projects. With the program line human capital, we provide a boost to educational projects and courses in the field of logistics and supply chain management. And through SME knowledge dissemination, we ensure that the information ends up in the right place.
Dinalog is proud of the growing stream of visitors who visit us for inspiration, content and joint innovation on a daily basis. More than 250 institutes and companies are already working as our partners in our innovation projects.

It started with a handshake between two visionary Oregonians: Bowerman and his University of Oregon runner Phil Knight. They and the people they hired evolved and grew the company that became Nike, Inc. From a US-based footwear distributor Nike grew into to a global marketer of athletic footwear, apparel and equipment that is unrivaled in the world. Along the way, Nike has established a strong Brand Portfolio with several wholly-owned subsidiaries including Cole Haan, Converse Inc., Hurley International LLC, NIKE Golf, and Umbro Ltd. That includes more than 30,000 Nike employees across six continents, each of whom is making his own contribution to fulfill our mission statement: to bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world.
